Results of First Brain(snow)storm

The team gets to gather to think of ideas and decide on an idea.

This week our team got together to throw around some ideas for our yo-yo design. We each brainstormed some basic concepts and presented them to each other:

We also ensured we were on the same page in terms of what we wanted out of the semester and our overarching goals for a design. After some discussing and some more collaborative brainstorming, we settled on (drum roll please) the SNOW GLO-YO:

Two potential versions of the Snow Glo-Yo design. V1 features a thermoformed clear dome and flat snap-on injection molded pieces (i.e. a snowman and tree). V2 also features a thermoformed clear dome, but the injection molded pieces are stand-up and one piece. Additional parts (i.e. carrot nose, top hat) could be added to fulfill additional design requirements.

Below is a quick CAD concept of V2's design. Other perks to this design include possible use of fake snow/glitter and sizable market potential with the holidays approaching.
